For the first lighting up and following mainte

nance procedures for the gas supply, it may
be necessary to repeat the resetting operation
several times so as to remove the air present
in the pipework.
After five consecutive resetting attempts the
reset button is inhibited. To restore its func
-
tion it is necessary to switch the boiler off and
on from the electrical mains, using the fused
spur isolation switch fitted adjacent to the ap
-
pliance.

Checking the flue system
The flue system should be visually checked
for soundness. Check all clamps, gaskets and
fixing are secure and tight.
Ensure that the flue terminal is sited correctly
in accordance with the flue fitting instructions
and Fig. 5.1 on page 38 of this manual.
To carry out a combustion check refer to the
instructions given in the section "Combustion
analysis check" on page 78 of this manual.
