Each dispensing cycle group rot at ion, decreases t he count er t hat  is 
displayed in t he prevent ive act ion m enu ( 7) . When t he decount er 
is  dow n  t o  zero,  t he  dispensing  cycle  underway  is  brought   t o  an 
end,  t hen  t he  syst em   t riggers  off  t he  det ect ion  report   and  t he 
follow ing m essages w ill com e up on display:

chine.

I f  t he  coffee  grounds  door  m icro  st ays  open  cont inuously  for  5 
sec, t he decount er is charged back up again.
Once  t he  decount er  is  charged  up  and  aft er  t he  door  m icro  has 
been  closed  back  up  again,  check  once  again  t o  ensure  t hat   t he 
decount er has been charged back up again.
When t he coffee grounds t ray is closed it  can be assert ed t hat  t he 
coffee grounds door is at  a low  logic level.

This m anagem ent  m ode is devised for t he follow ing drinks:

● Short (condensed) coffee dose (Key 1)

Set t ing of t he coffee dispensing t im e, w it h a ± 3 seconds t olerance 
t im e. The m ot or act ivat ion t im e for grinder- doser unit  adj ust m ent  

must be 0.4 seconds for finer grinding and 0.9 seconds for coarser 

grinding.

The first two coffee servings straight after the vending machine 

has been sw it ched on or aft er grinder- doser unit  adj ust m ent  ope-
rat ions, m ust  never be t aken int o considerat ion.
The  grinder- doser  unit   adj ust m ent   operat ions  should  be  done  at  
t he end of t he coffee dispensing cycle, w hilst  t he group goes back 
int o it s rest  posit ion.

Exam ple w it h dispensing t im e set  at  18 seconds

Sw it ch  on  t he  vending  m achine:   set   dispensing  t im e  is  18”.  The 

first two coffee servings dispensed by the machine and the two 

coffee servings dispensed st raight  aft er t he adj ust m ent  operat ions 

cannot  be t aken int o considerat ion.
I f in t he 3 subsequent  select ions t he coffee dispensing t im e does 
not  reach 18”  ( ± 3”  if t he coffee is less t han 60 cc and ± 4”  if t he 
coffee is com prised bet w een 60 and 80 cc) , t he m ot or reducer w ill 
be act ivat ed back up again for 0.4 sec in a clockw ise direct ion.
I f in t he 3 subsequent  select ions t he coffee dispensing t im e goes 
over 18”  ( ± 3”  if t he coffee is less t han 60 cc and ± 4”  if t he coffee 
is  com prised  bet w een  60  and  80  cc) ,  t he  m ot or  reducer  w ill  be 
act ivat ed for 0.9 sec in an ant iclockw ise direct ion.
The  above  process  shall  have  t o  be  repeat ed  unt il  t he  set   t im e 
is reached.
When t he coffee dispensing t im e am ount s t o 18”  ( or at  least  lies 
w it hin  t he  t olerance) ,  t he  m ot or  reducer  w ill  no  longer  need  t o 
be act ivat ed.
The program  will consist ent ly read- off t he dispensing cycle durat ion 
based  on  t he  coffee  elect ro  valve  opening  ( OUT3: 2)   and,  in  t he 
event  t hat  t he last  3 select ions are found t o be less t han or m ore 
t han t he set  dispensing t im e plus a ± 3”  t olerance if t he coffee is 
less t han 60 cc and ± 4”  t olerance if t he coffee is com prised bet ween 

60 and 80 cc,  (with finer grinding) to increase the dispensing time 

and for 0.9 sec in an ant iclockwise direct ion ( wit h coarser grinding)  
so as t o decrease t he dispensing t im e.
The  program m able,  coffee  dispensing  t im e  range  w ill  be  [ 2.9  t o 
35.0 s]  and can be set  via t he opt ions m enu.
