4.Sequence Chart of Control Signals
In order to avoid some fault operations and deviations, PUL, DIR and ENA should abide by some
rules, shown as following diagram
:
NOTE
: Enable signal is always high in this drive. Any external supply of 5 Vdc applied will disable the
Drive.
Remark:
a)
t1 :ENA must be ahead of DIR by at least 5uS. ENA signal is necessary to be driven High in case
Direction is needed to be changed.
Sequence for changing the direction as follows:-
1) User must drive ENA signal high,wait for 5
µ
s
2) Change DIR signal as per need,wait for 5
µ
s
3) Drive ENA signal low
b)
t2: DIR must be ahead of PUL effective edge by 5
µ
s to ensure correct direction;
c)
t3: Pulse width not less than 1.5
µ
s;
d)
t4: Low level width not less than 1.5
µ
s.
