1.
Disconnect the pressure hose from the inlet manifold / throttle.
2.
Choose the closure cap with the outer diameter fitting the inner diameter of the pressure hose.
3.
Insert the closure cap into the pressure hose and fix it with a hose clamp.
4.
Disconnect the turbocharger inlet hose from the air filter box.
5.
Choose the compressed air adapter cap with the outer diameter fitting the inner diameter of the
inlet hose.
6.
Insert the compressed air adapter cap into the inlet hose and fix it with a hose clamp.
7.
Connect the regulator to the compressed air adaptor cap. Note: The pressure regulator provides
optimal pressure for testing.
8.
Connecting pressure hose to the pressure regulator and pressurize system with compressed air.
9.
Check all components for leaks by spraying, for instance, soap lather on all critical spots such as
hose connections, air intercooler, etc.
10.
Existing leaks will become visible with the escaping air causing an abundant formation of soap
lather.
