GENERAL INFORMATION
This turbo system testing kit will help you locate leaks in the components of turbocharger systems.
Components such as pressure hoses, air-to-air intercooler, turbocharger, etc. are examined with the
engine switched off. The set offers a professional and economic diagnosis, it includes a pressure
regulator which ensures optimum test pressure and can be adapted by the test adapter at different
tube diameters. By using additional leak detection sprays, even the smallest leaks can be made
visible.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Take care while working on hot engines, there is a risk of burns!
•
Take care while working on running engines, loose-fitting clothing, tools and
other objects might get caught in rotating engine parts and cause severe
personal injuries.
•
Remove the ignition key before you start working in order to prevent accidental starting of the
engine.
•
Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery in order to prevent short circuits that might occur
during the installation of the testing device. This is particularly important if you work near the
generator or the starter.
•
Always use car-specific service literature to look up detailed information on disassembly and
assembly of the charger system components.
