2 - GENERAL SAFETY
WARNING!!
Incorrect installation or improper use of the product can result in injury to people and
animals or damage to property.
Read the literature that comes with this product carefully as it contains important information
regarding safety, installation, use and maintenance.
- Dispose of all packaging (plastic, cardboard, polystyrene, etc.) in compliance with the current
legislation. Keep nylon bags and polystyrene out of the reach of children.
- Keep hold of instructions so that you can attach them to the technical file and keep them
handy for future reference.
- This product has been designed and built solely for the purpose indicated herein. Uses not
contemplated herein might result in the product being damaged and could be a source of
danger.
- The Company accepts no liability for the misuse or a use other than the one it is destined for
and stated in this document.
- Do not install the product in an explosive atmosphere.
- The units making up the machine must meet the requirements of the following European Di-
rectives: 2014/30/EEC, 2014/35/EEC, 2006/42/EEC (and later amendments). For all countries
outside the EEC, it is advisable to comply with the standards mentioned, in addition to any
national standards in force, to achieve a good level of safety.
- The installation must comply with the provisions of European Directives: 2014/30/EEC,
2014/35/EEC, 2006/42/EEC (and later amendments).
- Disconnect the electrical supply before working on the system.
- Install a bipolar circuit breaker 16A curve C Icc 6kA with 0.03mA differential lock on the sup-
ply.
- Check the grounding system has been made correctly. Earth all the metal parts and all the
system components featuring an earth terminal.
- Apply all safety devices in compliance with all the applicable directives and technical standards.
- Install suitable “No pedestrian traffic” signs.
- The Company accepts no liability for the safety and good operation of the automated device
if components produced by other manufacturers are used.
- Use only original parts for maintenance or repairs.
- Do not modify the components of the automated device unless expressly authorized by the
Company.
- Train the system user about the control systems used and manual opening in case of an
emergency.
Do not allow people and children to stand in the operating area of the automated device.
- Keep remote controls or other control devices out of the reach of children in order to avoid
the automated system being operated inadvertently.
- The user must not attempt to repair the automated device but contact qualified personnel.
- Anything that is not explicitly provided for in these instructions is not allowed.
- All safety devices and controls must comply with EN 12978.
