Password protection
To avoid an unauthorised operation of the machine/system, the visual display
system is equipped with a password protection. The passwords are subdivided
into different password levels. If a particular password is assigned to a user, this
also includes the authorisation for performing the functions related to the corre-
sponding password level. If a user for example belongs to password level C, he
is authorised to perform functions of the password levels A to C. One or several
passwords can be assigned to the password levels A to P.
Access authorisation
Password level DEFAULT
In order to carry out functions of the DEFAULT password level, no password
must be entered. All displays which are not attributed to a password can be dis-
played in this password level. All input fields (parameters) which do not have a
password protection can also be edited.
Password levels A to P
Depending on their significance, the functions are assigned to the password
levels A to P. Before a function with password protection can be carried out, the
corresponding password level is to be activated. If the entered password is not
sufficient, the display or the input field cannot be opened.
User log in
The user can log in with his password in the system window. For this, proceed
