•
Turn the shaft adapter (1) anticlock-
wise using a screw driver.
The shaft adapter is thereby screwed
from the coupling.
•
Extract the seal housing from the plug connection.
•
If the seals are defective or after the maintenance interval, send the seal cas-
ing to BETE Deutschland GmbH to have the seal rings replaced.
•
The shaft adapter can be further dismantled (see the illustrations below).
The shaft adapter has to be pushed out
of the seal housing starting at the
thread side (see arrow).
•
To do so, screw a screw into the
shaft adapter (1) if necessary.
•
Then push the shaft adapter – e.g.
using a vice – evenly out of the seal
housing (2).
•
If the seals are defective or after the maintenance interval, send the shaft
adapter to BETE Deutschland GmbH to have the seal rings replaced.

It is also possible to replace the seal rings yourself. In this case, you will re-
quire the ‘setup kit seal replacement’, see section “6.3.4 Optional accesso-
