Drop the Swing Arm Assembly #508.54 into the
receiver in the Casting, and fasten in place from
underneath with one (1) M12-1.75x30 Hex Head
Bolt and one (1) M12 Washer #414.17.
NOTE:
It is recommended to remove the right
tail light assembly to provide more clearance to
place the Tire Carrier Swing Arm into the casting
receiver and avoid damaging the tail light.
NOTE:
Once the tire carrier swing arm spindle
bolt has been tightened, it will be very difficult to
remove the swing arm spindle from the receiver.

Attach Tire Carrier Swing Arm Assembly to Casting

If your vehicle has a Modular Bumper with End
Caps installed, you will first have to remove the
knock-out disk in the right-side step pad before
dropping the Tire Carrier Swing Arm assembly
into the receiver.
The knock-out disc can be easily removed by
cutting the bridges around the edge of the disk.
