Open Door
Exterior Door Handles
When the vehicle is unlocked, the exterior door handles extend automatically. You
can open the door by pulling the corresponding door handle. The exterior door
handles retract automatically when the vehicle is locked, driving over 3 km/h, or
the door handles have been extended for over 20 seconds. If a door (or liftgate)
is open, the exterior door handles will not retract automatically, but will retract 20
seconds after all doors are closed.
Caution
When the exterior door handles automatically retract, ensure that occupants
(especially children) keep their hands away from the door handles. Failure to do
so may result in injury.
If the vehicle is unlocked and the door handles are retracted, you can press the
rear end of any door handle to extend all door handles.
