Visual Inspection

The type plates must be legible.
If there is corrosion, it must not affect
the function and stability of the shield.
Only before dispatch:
The beam path must be closed.
Only before dispatch:
The locking plate must be mounted
and secured.

The transport securing device(s) must

Checking the Functions of the Shutter
Requirement

It must be possible to move the shutter
completely back and forth between
the two positions (
OPEN
/
CLOSED
).
The measuring signal of the
measurement system must
approximately correspond to the
maximum value in the
CLOSED
position.
If alternatively a dose rate
measurement device is used, the dose
rate in the
CLOSED
position must be
clearly lower than in the
OPEN
position.
It must be possible to turn the locking
cylinder using one hand and the lever
rod.
