Reset
The Uni-Probe can be reset as follows:
1) Software reset
Via
FACTORY SETTING
on the menu
DEVICE

SERVICE

The Uni-Probe will be reset and all parameters will be overwritten
by default values.
2) Hardware reset
By pushing the Reset button on the digital board.
The housing must be open! See Volume 2 of the User’s Manual,
chapter 3.3 on page 2–189.
The parameters remain unchanged.
3) Power supply
Turning the power on and off also leads to a reset of the Uni-Probe
just like a hardware reset.
The parameters remain unchanged.
17 Error RTC backup / Battery Hardware timer does not have the
current date! If the device has been
without power supply for a longer
period of time, then the buffer
capacitor may be empty. Check date and update it, if neces-
sary. Supply device with power for
24 hours to charge the capacitor
again.
If the error message occurred while
the Uni-Probe has been in operation
for several hours already, then the
hardware timer is faulty. You can continue working with the
device anyway, as long as it will be
continuously supplied with power.
Otherwise, please keep in mind that
no decay compensation is carried
out as long as the Uni-Probe is with-
out power supply. As soon as possi-
ble, you have to replace the digital
board to ensure that the decay
compensation will also work when
the device is switched off.

19 Error RS-485 Communication Communication not possible with
indicated Auxiliary Unit. Check wiring. If necessary, replace
Main Unit and/or Auxiliary Unit
20 Warning cps > Min Count rate below adjusted minimum Check input value for minimum
count rate. If necessary, enter
0 to
disable the function.
21 Warning cps > Max Count rate above adjusted maximum Check input value for maximum
count rate. If necessary, enter 0 to
disable the function.
22 Caution interference radiation Interference radiation detected, pos-
sibly due to welding check. Wait for set waiting time. The sys-
tem automatically switches to the
Run mode.
23 Error current output Error at the current output.
The actual value of the current value
does not correspond to the target
value. Replace digital board
