> Pull the thread over the thread cutter and cut.
> Close the hook cover.
Fill level of bobbin thread
> Tap «Bobbin filling».
> Tap the value next to «Yards on full Bobbin».
> If you are using pre-wound bobbins, enter and confirm the indicated thread quantity in yards.
> If you are using self-wound BERNINA bobbins, take the thread quantity of a full bobbin from the table in
the appendix, and enter and confirm the value. (see page 74).

During quilting, the percentage display will run backwards.
– A flashing symbol next to «Bobbin filling» indicates that the bobbin thread quantity has decreased to
under 25%.
2.7 Upper thread
Threading preparation
> Raise the needle.
> Raising the presser foot is
IMPORTANT so that the thread can be inserted between the thread tension
discs.
Threading the upper thread
Place cross-wound spools and cones on the vertical spool pin. For smaller spools or parralel-wound
spools, use the horizontal spool pin (optional accessory).
