Selecting the Embroidery Foot
To ensure that the machine can set the correct standard height for the attached embroidery foot, the
embroidery foot must be selected in the «Presser foot sole display».
> Switch the machine on.
> Tap «Presser Foot Indicator/Presser Foot Selection».
– Any presser foot soles are displayed.
> Select the attached embroidery foot.
– A description of the selected embroidery foot is displayed.
> Tap «Confirm».
– The selected embroidery foot is displayed and the standard height is set.
2.5 Needle
Inserting the Embroidery Needle
Embroidery needles of the type 130/705 H-SUK provide a larger eye and are slightly rounded. This avoids
thread abrasion when using Rayon- and cotton embroidery thread. Depending on the embroidery thread
use a size No. 70-SUK to No. 90-SUK needle.
> Raise the needle.
> Switch the machine off and disconnect it from the power supply system.
> Remove the presser foot.
> Loosen the needle clamp screw (1) using the screwdriver and remove the needle.
> Hold the needle with the flat side (2) to the back.
> Push the needle up to the stop (3).
> Tighten the needle clamp (1) screw using the screwdriver.
