OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This is the safety alert symbol used for the OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
section of this manual to alert you to potential personal injury hazards.
Obey all instructions to avoid possible injury and/or property damage.
1. Make sure the vehicle is on a hard, flat, dry surface and the transmission is in
PARK or engaged in gear if a manual transmission before using the dollies.
2. Open the hook (22) to release the foot pedal (11)
(Fig. 1)
.
3. Spread the base leg assemblies far enough apart where they will straddle the
tire
(Fig. 2)
.
4. Push the maneuvering aid in toward the tire where the rollers of the base leg as-
semblies are straddling the tire and the center of the tire is in line with the center of
each roller
(Fig. 3)
.
5. Rotate the lock (9) in the opposite direction so the front lock jaw (16) engages
the teeth in the Left Roller Supportl (5)
(Fig. 4)
.
6. Activate the foot pedal (11)
(Fig. 4)
so the rollers on the base leg assemblies
make contact with the circumference of the tire. Again, make sure the tire is properly
aligned with the maneuvering aid. Continue activating the pedal assembly until the
tire is lifted about 2,5 cm off the ground.
7. Repeat steps 1 through 6 on the remaining three tires. Check to see if the 2,5
cm clearance will be enough to maneuver the vehicle over the floor without any ob-
structions. It may be necessary to increase the 2,5 cm ground clearance.
8. Once the vehicle is supported by the maneuvering aids, move the vehicle slowly
and carefully to its destination.
9. Rotate the lock (9)
(Fig. 3)
forward towards the foot pedal and then continue to
activate the foot pedal until the rollers of the base leg assemblies clear the circum-
ference of the tire. Remove the maneuvering aid.
