FUNCTIONS
The thermostat has the following functions:
•
Room thermostat: the internal temperature sensor de
-
tects the temperature and, comparing with the set point,
switches ON or OFF the heating request. The tempera
-
ture sensor is located on the lower side of the item.
•
Battery low
•
Hysteresis ON calibration
(Parameter P01)
•
Hysteresis OFF calibration
(Parameter P02)
• Room temperature calibration (Parameter P03)
LOW BATTERIES
The two supplied batteries will last for approximately 1 year
under a normal usage. When the batteries are low, the LO
letters will appear on the display alternated to the room
temperature value. Follow the correct positioning of the
batteries according to the internal transmitter battery box
indications. Every time the batteries are removed the set
temperature is maintained memorized. In the case of com
-
pletely empty batteries, at the moment of the final switching
OFF, the relay position (and therefore the heat request) re
-
mains as it was in that moment.
PARAMETERS SETTING (ONLY FOR EXPERTISE)
The thermostat incorporates a technical parameterized
menu accessible only pressing the push button located on
internal printed circuit board and the use of this is recom
-
mended for expert personnel only. The parameter settings
change the working mode of the thermostat, therefore the
modifications are allowed only if required by the particular
installation. To locate the push button on the board, open
the thermostat separating the front plate from the wall hung
plate. Press for 5 second the button, the display will show
P01; scroll the parameters list P01-P02-P03-ESC rotating
the main knob. To enter and modify each parameter press
again. Select the new values, press again to enter and es
-
cape. Use the ESC parameter to escape from the technical
menu.
The parameters that can be adjusted as described below:
PAR.
DESCRIPTION
P01
HYSTERESIS ON.
The value selected with this
parameter indicates when the heat request is
activated. The factory setting is 0,2°C, values
range between 0,0°C and 2,0°C. Heat requests
switch ON when the room temperature drop
below the room target temperature minus the
hysteresis ON value.
P02
HYSTERESIS OFF.
The value selected with
this parameter indicates when the heat request
is stopped. The factory setting is 0,4°C, values
range between 0,0°C and 2,0°C. Heat requests
switch OFF when the room temperature reach
-
es the room target temperature plus the hyster
-
esis OFF value.
