10 .1 Fitting the valve group
Proceed as follows to install the storage cylinder:
- Fix the expansion vessel mounting bracket to the
storage cylinder (1). 18 litre expansion vessels can
be fixed either to the storage cylinder or to the wall
(wall plugs not provided).

Before fixing the valve group in place, identify its
correct position with respect to the heat exchange
coil inlet and outlet, and mark the points to drill for the
expansion plugs.

To avoid damage, make holes in the storage cylinder
insulation at the points marked before inserting the
expansion plugs for the valve group.

- Mount the expansion vessel on its bracket (2a) or on
the wall (2b)
- Connect the expansion vessel to the safety valve
group using the flexible hose and fitting provided (3)
- Connect up the collectors and DHW system

All expansion vessels come pre-charged to a
pressure of 2.5 bar.
