Configuration of the REC remote
control on channel 1
When the
CONNECT LE
is configured in
Link Mode
, a Family Remote
Control or REC 08 will also act as a remote control for the boiler if it is
connected on channel 1 (
CH1
).
THE
CONNECT LE
board must be appropriately configured by inserting
the jumpers following the diagram and table below.

b
Please refer to the indications provided in the boiler manual to
correctly position the external sensor.
The external sensor is to be connected to terminals

of the
CONNECT LE
board using a bi-polar cable from 0.5 to 1

If the REC 07 or REC 08 is connected to channel 1 (CH1), the exter-
nal sensor value displayed is updated every 5 minutes and shows an
average of the readings taken. The value in the start-up phase is the
value acquired in real time.
To control the delivery temperature of the zones with a connected ex-
ternal sensor, please refer to the chapters “
Trimmer
” and “
Tempera-
ture
” adjustment.
3 COMMISSIONING
3.1 First start-up
Before starting up the
CONNECT LE
, check that the plumbing and
electrical connections have been carried out correctly.
During the testing phase it is possible to check the temperatures of the
low temperature zones using the thermometers (T1-T2).

Starting with the appliance off, when the CONNECT LE is powered,
the closing of the mixing valve is simultaneously activated for 140 sec
(Mixing valve closing time Power On).
In this phase the circulation units remain off.
This phase allows the system to begin system adjustment starting from
a situation in which 'everything is off'.
3.2 Trimmer adjustment
There are 3 trimmers on the electronic board of the
CONNECT LE
which
allow the delivery temperature of the different zones to be adjusted in
both Link Mode and Stand Alone mode.

The trimmers (TR1-TR2-TR3) take on a different function depending
on whether there is an external sensor or not.
WITH an external sensor installed
If the external sensor is connected, the delivery temperatures are de-
termined by the calculation carried out by the thermoregulation. The
trimmers allow the set-point calculated in the zone concerned to be
corrected as per the table.

2
TR2

3
TR3

WITHOUT an external sensor installed
If the external sensor is not connected, the trimmers adjust the "fixed
point" system set-point by directly setting the delivery temperature in
the zone concerned. This is adjusted as per the table.

If there is a
REC 07
or
REC 08
it operates as indicated in the section
“3.3.1 Delivery temperature between the CONNECT LE and the sys-
tem”.
