2.6 Electrical connections
The
CONNECT LE
is prearranged with rubber cable feed-throughs
(1) located in the top section of the box allowing wiring to be passed
through.

4
Below is an explanation of how to correctly connect and configure the
CONNECT LE
on the basis of the type of boiler, the type of system, the
presence of an REC (remote control) and/or TA (ambient thermostat)
and/or CT (chrono-thermostat) and the presence, or lack, of an exter-
nal sensor.
Some functions can be enabled directly on the
CONNECT LE
board by
using the designated jumpers supplied. These jumpers are in a small
CONNECT LE secured to the inside of the cover of the electrical con-
nection box.
b
Before carrying out any electrical intervention, set the main sys-
tem switch to "off".
Connecting the
CONNECT LE
to the electrical power supply
-
Pass the cable (2) which comes out of the electrical connection
box (3) through the cable feed-through (1) and connect it to the
electrical power supply (phase-neutral-earth) making sure not to
connect it below the boiler fuse.

3
Access to the
CONNECT LE
board
-
To access the
CONNECT LE
board, loosen the four screws (4)
and remove the cover (3).

CONNECT LE
configuration
The
CONNECT LE
can be configured in one of two different operating
modes,
Link Mode
or
Stand Alone
.
b
On delivery, the system is configured in Stand Alone mode.
2.6.1 Stand Alone Mode
Stand Alone
mode can be configured in order to use
CONNECT LE
with all types of boilers. In this mode, the
CONNECT LE
does not trans-
fer the set-point calculated on each individual zone to the boiler. There-
fore, the boiler will have a delivery temperature equal to the set-point
set on the boiler itself and the REC, TA or CT will control activation (or
lack of) of the individual zones.
To summarise:
STAND ALONE:
-
CAN BE COMBINED WITH ALL BOILERS
-
HEAT REQUEST TO THE BOILER WITH DRY CONTACT
-
MANUAL SET POINT TEMPERATURE (ON BOILER).
Below are the connection diagrams of the
CONNECT LE
board to the
boiler, REC, TA or CT, and to the external sensor.
N.B.:
The connections are in relation to the model with 2 mixing zones.
Do not consider the connection BT2 for the model with only one mixing
zone.
STAND ALONE mode with 3 Thermostats / Chrono-thermostats
