Personnel requirements
WARNING!
Risk of injury if operated by insufficiently trained
personnel!
Incorrect handling can result in serious bodily injury
and property damage.
Therefore:
– All activities are to be carried out only by
qualified personnel.
– Consult the manufacturer if there is any doubt
concerning maintenance activities.
– Repairs should be performed only by the
manufacturer or authorized technical
personnel.
The following qualifications apply for these various ranges of tasks:
Medical specialists (surgeons, surgical personnel)
are able to safely perform the assigned tasks by virtue of their
medical education, knowledge and experience.
Medical specialists can independently detect, assess and
avoid possible hazards to themselves or the patients.
Medical specialists understand all valid regulations, guidelines
and standards required by law for safe use of the device and
are able to implement them accordingly.
Medical specialists have the required technical knowledge for
properly using the device in the area of application and
comply with all hygiene regulations for rooms used for medical
purposes and for the use of medical devices.
