Danger of injuries through improper handling!
Taking the device down requires a great deal of physical
exertion due to its size and weight. If the device falls down,
serious injuries are possible.

Two persons are required to take the device down.
☞
Ensure stable footing when taking the device down.
☞
Ensure that no other people are in the working area.

Taking the device down requires a great deal of physical
exertion due to its size and weight. If the device falls, the
device, kitchen furnishings and other objects could be
damaged.
☞
Cover the cooled hob.
☞
Keep the installation area clear.
☞
Disconnect all poles of the power supply for the device.
☞
Push up on the front panel in the closure area, until the
closure can be heard to open. The front panel may tip
forwards slightly.
☞
Release the knurled nuts and retaining rope from the
chimney stack.
☞
Remove the front panel.
For recirculating air and hybrid operation:
☞
Remove the filter.
For extracted air and hybrid operation:
☞
Remove the exhaust air duct.
☞
Release the threaded connection for the rear panel on the
inside of the chimney stack.
☞
Lift the rear panel off the device.
☞
Release the threaded connection of the side parts.
☞
Lift the side parts away from the device.
☞
Unplug the Wieland plug from the chimney stack.
☞
Remove the cover from the cable compartment on the
chimney stack.
☞
Remove the wiring from the hood body.
If present:
☞
Remove any accessory connection cables.
☞
Release the threaded connection of the cladding panels
on the flue.
☞
Fold the cladding panels downwards.
☞
Pull the cladding panels off.
☞
Release the threaded connection for the hood body on
the chimney stack.
☞
Secure the hood body against falling with a second
person.
☞
Release the metal clips from the hood body on the
chimney stack.
☞
Pull the hood body down and off.
☞
Set the hood body down on a firm and protective surface.
☞
Undo the nuts on the bolt anchors.
☞
Only remove the nuts at the elongated holes.
☞
Rotate the chimney stack such that it can be removed via
the nuts on the lock holes.
☞
Remove the chimney stack.
☞
Remove the bolt anchors from the ceiling.
