Hanging the hood body

D

WARNING!

Danger of injuries through improper handling!

Hanging the device requires a great deal of physical exertion
due to its size and weight. If the device falls down, serious
injuries are possible.

☞

Two persons are required to hang the device.

☞

Ensure stable footing when hanging the device.

☞

Ensure that no other people are in the working area.

Hanging the device requires a great deal of physical exertion
due to its size and weight. If the device falls, the device,
kitchen furnishings and other objects could be damaged.

☞

Cover the cooled hob.

☞

Keep the installation area clear.

☞

Arrange the hood body with the front side facing the
front side of the cooking surface.

☞

Lift the hood body from below up to the chimney stack
until the four metal clips have latched.

☞

Make sure that the hood body is held in this position.

☞

Secure the hood body to the brackets on the chimney
stack with screws.

☞

Connect the cable from the control panel and the hob
lighting to the chimney stack connections.

☞

Screw the cover back on the cable compartment.
