Before you start
If you are not familiar with using the BeoCord
VX 7000 on-screen menus, it may be a good idea
to read page 7 before you go on.
The second and third items appearing
in the main menu, Tape list and Tape
naming,
provide you with an efficient
and easy-to-use filing system for your
video tapes.
The Tape list gives you a survey of all
your video recordings (tracks) on all
your tapes. You just have to call up the
list, leaf through the titles, and then
when you have found the one you want
to see – key in its number.
A new menu then appears, telling you
which track (recording) you have
chosen and which tape number you
must load to watch it.
When you have loaded the tape, the
video tape recorder starts searching for
the track, and plays it the moment it is
found.
All that is required from you, in order
for this filing system to work properly,
is that you number your tapes and enter
the name of each recording you make
once and for all.
