The "Free Region" option is only available in the Camcorder
mode.
• Capture to:
• Clipboard: sends the capture to the clipboard for
pasting in a graphics software.
• File: saves the capture as a file.
• Set Folder: opens a folder selection dialog box to
choose where you want to store the captured files.
• Browse Folder: opens a file explorer to browse the saved
files.
• Quality:
• High: saves your captured image/video files in high
quality.
• Medium: saves your captured image/video files in
medium quality.
• Low: saves your captured image/video files in low
quality.
A higher quality setting increases the file size.
• Capture Mode:
• One Shot: captures a single screenshot.
• Continuous Shots: captures three continuous shots.
• Sound Input: QShot can enumerate all available audio capture
devices on your system and list them on this menu. You can
choose which device you want to get the audio from.
If no audio device is available, the recorded video contains no
sound.
• Auto Foreground: When "Auto Foreground" is enable, QShot
will bring the selected window to the top before capturing
image or video.
"Auto Foreground" only works when "Target On" is set to
"Window".
• Include Cursor: includes the current cursor on the captured
image or video.
• Appearance: QShot displays several animations for hint when
the action is activated. You can turn them on/off from the
options below.
• Tray Icon: plays an animation icon in the notification
area.
• Target Frame: plays an animation around the target.
• Shutter Effect: plays an animation on the bottom right
corner of the screen.
• Shutter Sound: plays a shutter sound once you activate
the capturing.
Capturing desktop images
1. Place your cursor on the desktop.
2. Press the QShot
button.
3. The captured image file will be saved to the QShot folder.
Captured image files are saved in the JPEG file format.
