To select the focus mode:

1. Set the mode dial to the desired shooting mode. See

"Selecting the Shooting

Mode" on page 23

for details.

Used when capturing images at a close

Super Macro

Used when capturing images at a very close
distance. Super Macro mode is automatically
selected when capturing subjects from a

Used when you want to capture the subjects
in a certain focus range.

Used when capturing images at long
