Description of function
The inverters are set at the factory to "inverter priority". In normal operation the
AC voltage produced by the inverter from the DC input voltage is available at the
load receptacles. Switch-over to the commercial AC bypass takes place with an
internal switch-over device, only in the case of a fault within the inverter or an
overload on the inverter output. (the inverter cannot deliver adequate output
voltage).
Switch-over takes place if the inverter output voltage falls below the programmed
switch-over voltage of the unit. The switch-over process can cause an interruption
of the output power to the loads for a maximum duration of 100 ms.
The potential free fault signal is a central fault signal. A fault signal is issued when
the inverter output voltage is not present due to a fault in the inverter and loss of
commercial AC bypass.
The inverter is designed for operation up to +40°C, above that temperature, the
unit will de-rate at 3.5%Pn/°C. At +60°C, the unit will automatically go into High
Temperature Shut-down. The unit will automatically re-connect when the
temperature decreases to +55°C. The unit can be manually re-started by cycling
the ON/OFF Power push-button to manually restart the unit.
