BENNETT READ ONE CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Your BENNETT READ ONE will give you years of outstanding service. You have a part to play in extending the life

of your machine. To ensure that your BENNETT READ ONE continues to provide you with excellent service and your

family with a healthier home to live in, follow these simple cleaning and maintenance instructions:

AFTER DRY VACUUMING:

•  Remove all attachments and flexi-hose (28)

from the machine

•  Remove and clean the dust bag(13) and inner filter

(14) as explained earlier in this guide

•  DO NOT

wash the inner filter (14) with water, only

tap it against a solid surface or blow dust away with

compressed air

•  Wipe dirt collection tank (6) with a damp cloth to remove

any dirt or dust. The tank may also be rinsed with warm

tap water. Allow to dry completely before storing

GENERAL:

•  Check the post-motor filter (10) regularly for visible dirt or dust. Rinse the high-density foam under running water until clean. Allow to

air-dry completely before placing it back into the machine. Do not store the machine with water and cleaning solution still left in the clean

water tank (8). If you have any solution left in the clean water tank after deep cleaning it is recommended to store this solution in an air

tight container for future use

AFTER WET VACUUMING OR DEEP CLEANING :

•  Remove all attachments and flexi hose (28) from the machine
•  Empty dirty water from the dirt collection tank (6), wipe with

a cloth to remove any stubborn dirt, rinse thoroughly with

warm water and allow to dry completely before storage

•  Remove foam filter (17), rinse and allow to dry completely
•  Rinse and clean all parts and accessories (except filters

that cannot be wet) thoroughly and allow to dry completely

before storage

•  To clean the flexi hose, flush clean by running hot tap

water through it and allow to dry completely before using

again or storage

Always unplug the machine from the mains power before you start with cleaning and maintenance.

You can also clean the flexi-hose by vacuuming up some clean water from a bucket while set-up for wet vacuuming
