Press and hol d [F] key to power on.

Press [Up]/[Down] key to sel ect MEMCLR, then press [F] key to confirm,
the screen will displ ay “RESET”, then press [F] key agai n, the memor y
channel will be deleted.
▪Memory channel name setting
5 characters i n maximum (l etter and number) can be edi ted for memory
channel name. When transmi tti ng i n a named channel, the channel name will
repl ace the stored frequency and displ ay i n the screen. Channel name can be
call num ber, repeater name, city name or personal name etc.
1) Select the desired memory channel.
2) Press [F] and [9] key to enter menu mode, sel ect menu 15 for name setting.
The first character blinks.
3) Press [Up]/[Down] key to set the first character.
4) Press [9] key to next digi t.
5) Repeat step 3 and 4 to input 5 characters i n maximum.
After the fi fth character is set, no need to press [9] key.
Press [7] key to delete the current character and back to l ast character.
Press [V/M] key to del ete all.

Press [F] to finish the setting.
▪Channel name display/frequency display switching
When channel name has been stored, you can switch channel name display
and frequency displ ay, to confirm the frequency of the named channel.
