Preparing to Mount the
Cutter on the Column

Before you can column-mount the Type F Donut
Cutter to a fryer, you must secure the fryer to the
floor, install the column, and install the swing
arm.

Securing the Fryer

If you plan to column-mount the cutter to a non-
Belshaw fryer, fasten the fryer securely to the
floor.  We cannot guarantee that the Type F
Donut Cutter will comply with CE standards if
you use a non-Belshaw fryer.

If you plan to column-mount the cutter to a
Belshaw Century fryer, you do not need to fasten
the fryer to the floor.

If you plan to column-mount the cutter to a
Belshaw open-kettle fryer, secure the fryer to the
floor as follows:

1.  Remove the hairpin clips (2 per leg) that

hold the casters to the frame of the fryer,
then remove the casters.  The flanged feet of
the fryer will now be resting on the floor.

2.  Each of the flanged feet has two holes in it,

mark the locations of these holes on the
floor.

3.  Have a qualified technician use an

appropriate tool to create holes in the floor
to accommodate 1/4” bolts.  We cannot
guarantee that the Type F Donut Cutter will
