REMOVING A SHEET OF MISFED PAPER

When P1, P2 or P3 appears on the Multi-Print Display, it indicates that there is a sheet of misfed paper or
the Paper Cassette has run out of paper. Clear the paper misfeed by following the procedure given below.

■ 

Isolating the Misfeed Location

P1, P2 and P3 signify particular locations of misfeeds inside the machine.

P1: A misfeed has occurred in the paper path between the Paper Cassette and U-Turn Guide,

or the Cassette has run out of paper.

P2: A misfeed has occurred in the paper path between the U-Turn Guide and Fusing Unit.
P3: A misfeed has occurred in the paper path between Fusing Unit and Print Tray.

NOTE

If a paper misfeed occurs during a multi-print cycle, clear all sheets of misfed paper.
