1.1.2 Connecting the base

Connect the telephone cable and the power cable to the rear of the base as shown.

Connect the telephone plug to the wall socket.
l
Connect the mains adapter to a 230 V / 50 Hz power outlet.
l
The Line icon
on the base comes on.
l
After a few seconds, the base beeps to confirm the operation.
1.2
INSTALLING THE HANDSET
1.2.1 Fitting the batteries and charging up for the first time
Once the base is connected, insert the batteries into the
compartment at the back of the handset. Follow the signs
telling you which way round the batteries go.
l
Place the handset on the base. The red light on the
base comes on and it beeps once.

The battery charge icon appears on the handset.
- 3 coloured stripes: batteries fully charged,
- fewer than 3 coloured stripes: batteries need recharging.
