Incoming Calls
Rejecting a Call
You can also reject an incoming call. When you receive a call the
caller's telephone number appears in the display.* If this tele-
phone number is listed in the telephone book of your Forum
Phone 510 you will see the caller's name as it appears in the
telephone book instead.
Your telephone rings: The caller's telephone number, and,
where available, his/her name, appear in the display. While the
telephone is ringing you can see the softkey function in the
lower display line:
Reject : option not to accept the call
Reroute (Deflect): calls up a submenu where the destination for
the call deflection can be selected
HideID/ SendID (Restrict/Transmit): On/Off function - own
telephone number is transmitted or not
Press the
Reject
softkey. The call is rejected and your tele-
phone stops ringing.
* Only if the telephone number is transmitted and corresponds to the tele-
phone book entry.
If you reject a call it is not entered into the call list. Your caller
is not informed that you have rejected the call. If multiple termi-
nals are operated on your ISDN line the call can continue to be
signalled on the other terminals.
Deflecting a Call
When you receive a call you can choose to deflect this to a tele-
phone number from the telephone book or a telephone number
specially stored for this purpose. To find out how to program the
telephone number for call deflection please refer to the section
entitled "Telephone Number for Call Deflection".
This feature may not be available from all network operators.
