Making a Call
Dialling with a Subaddress
In order to use certain services it may be necessary to transmit
a subaddress in addition to the telephone number. This subad-
dress is transmitted to the opposite terminal during dialling for
evaluation by the dialled terminal.
First enter the telephone number. Then press the
SubAddr
soft-
key.
Now enter the subaddress. An "
s
" appears in the display
between the telephone number and subaddress. Now initiate
dialling with the speaker key or lift the handset.
The subaddress can contain up to 20 characters. The Forum
Phone 510 can only transmit digits in the subaddress; letters
cannot be transmitted.
