You can connect additional devices to the same 

telephone socket. Make sure the fax machine is

 In different rooms : You can connect ad-

ditional devices to separate sockets. This is 
a so called pararell connection. In this case, 
the use of  your fax machine is limited, e.g. 
it is not possible anymore to receive faxes 
silently.

 Easy Install

Using EASY INSTALL your fax machine will be

 gured according to your local conditions.

machine will print one page. Pull out the page

 rmly and follow the instructions.

  Your fax machine will then guide you on the 

display through the

 rst settings such as your 

fax number and your name.

  Afterwards you need to enter the current time 

and date. Use the dial pad to enter the correct

      Private branch exchange

Private branch exchange systems are very com-

mon in large companies. ISDN connections are 
private branch exchanges and are used very often 
in private households. To get a connection from 
a private branch exchange to the public network 

you have to dial a key to obtain the outside line.
