THE USER DESKTOP APPLICATION
Once Sources, Pools, Desks and Rooms have been
configured by the administrator, users can reserve and
access their sources from the deskapp program, initiated by
double-clicking
deskapp.exe
.
Using the standard SMP2 terminology;
•
Sources are reserved from Pools to Desks by users.
•
Sources are released from Desks back to their Pools by users.
Note:
Be sure to logoff from your source before releasing it back to the Pool.
The desktop application display with two monitor icons will open and show, in the upper right, what
Pools are available.
Clicking on a Pool name will reserve the next currently unused source from that Pool and that Source's
name will appear in icons above the two monitors. (Note that the Pool name has been grayed out. This
means there are no additional sources available from P_BRAVO.)
