5.1 Temperature Measurement
Select the sensor which is appropriate for the particu-
lar measuring task. The various types of thermocou-
ples available are listed on page 55.
Connect sensor plug to socket (1 or 3) ensureing that
the polarity is correct.
Switch on instrument
Select „°C“ or „°F" respectively.
Select the measurement
The HOLD-function has to be „off“.
Bring the object to be measured into contact with the
temperature sensor.
Wait until a steady value is displayed. Please note that
the time required to obtain the actual measurement
value depends upon each individual application (up to
30 seconds).
5.2 Measurement point illumination
UNITEST Therm 100 are equipped with a measurement
point illumination feature. Thus, working under bad lighting
conditions (e.g. division switch cabinets) is made easier.
Press button for measurement point illumination (9).
After approx. 2 min., the measurement point
illumination switch of automatically.
