5. 7 Function Auto-Power-Off
The Luxmeter 93560 is calibrated to the auto-power-off function in the factory, i.e.
if no key is pressed during a longer time period, the instrument switches off auto-
matically (to be recognised at the symbol "
I
"). This function may be switched off or
a new switch-off duration may be set.
Setting or Disable Auto Power off Function
• Press "I" key to turn off the meter.
• Press and hold down the “ AVG” key then press "I" key to turn on the meter,
enter to setting auto power off time mode.
• Press navigation keys to adjust to desired auto power time
The adjustable time is between 0 to 127 minutes. If select 0 minute means
no auto power off function
• Press AVG key (3) again, the seted value is stored
Disable auto power off function only one time
• Press "I" key to turn off the meter.
• Press and hold down "HOLD " key.
• then press "I" key to turn on the meter, the auto power off function will be
disabled.
Auto power off mode is enabled each time you turn on the meter.
6. 0 Calculation Example
Watt Rule:
An illumination of 100 lx in a room requires:
• via light bulb illumination (15 lm/W), a power of approx. 20 W/m2
• via tubular fluorescent lamp (60 lm/W), a power of approx. 5.5 W/m2
You wish to calculate the number of tubular fluorescent lamps as well as the watta-
ge necessary for an office room which requires an illumination of 500x in compli-
ance with the standard values table. The total office surface is 40 m2.
