8.4 Fuse replacementl
Prior to fuse replacement, ensu-
re that multimeter is disconnec-
ted from external voltage supply
and the other connected instru-
ments (such as UUT, control
instruments, etc.).
Exclusively use fuses of voltage
and current values in complian-
ce with the technical data sec-
tion.
Using auxiliary fuses, in particular
short-circuiting fuse holders is prohi-
bited and can cause instrument
destruction or serious bodily injury of
operator.
•
Switch of the instrument and dis-
connect from all measurement cir-
cuits and test leads.
•
Remove the protective rubber hol-
ster and loosen the screws on the
instrument rear.
•
Lift the battery case cover
•
Loosen the 4 screws.
•
Lift the case cover
•
Remove the defect fuse
•
Replace the case cover and retigh-
ten the screws.
•
Replace the battery case cover and
retighten the screws.
•
Replace the protective rubber hol-
ster.
