LED GROUND LIGHT
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
The electrical installation should be carried out by qualified personal only, according to the
regulations for electrical and mechanical safety in your country.
VERY IMPORTANT: Check the user manual of the LED Manager for the maximum allowed power on
its outputs! Do not exceed this maximum allowed power! To know the total power consumption of all
LED products in a chain you simply have to count up the power consumption of all units in the chain.
Check the chapter “specifications” at the end of this manual to see the power consumption of the
different LED STRIPS!
•
Since the LED Manager uses special 4pin connecters on its power
outputs, we suggest to buy an optional 1m extension cable (with
special male/female 4pin connectors) and to cut the female connector.
Now you can easily strip the cable. You will find 4 colored wires inside:
•
White wire:
This is the common wire (anode)
•
Red wire:
This the power for the red LEDs (max. 50W)
•
Green wire:
This the power for the green LEDs
(max. 50W)
•
Blue wire:
This the power for the blue LEDs (max. 50W)
•
Just connect these 4 wires to the corresponding 4 wires of the
projector. All projectors can be connected in parallel as shown on the
drawing below. Make sure not to exceed the maximum allowed load!
•
For longer distances you can extend the cables with a normal 4x1,5mm²
electrical installation cable. If you can’t find a cable with the same color codes we
strongly suggest you write down the color transitions between both cables! (ex.
white
Æ
black, blue
Æ
blue, green
Æ
brown, …) This is extremely important
otherwise the projectors will not work as expected.
•
When you install several projectors, you will surely need special waterproof
junction boxes to make the junctions needed.
•
Another option is to open the waterproof metal enclosure (4) and to replace the
original cable by your own cable. In this case you can make the connection
immediately inside the projector so you don’t need a special waterproof junction
box.
•
After checking that the maximum allowed power is not exceeded, you can connect the cable, coming from
the projectors, to one of the outputs of the LED Manager.
Example power calculation:
You have to install 47x LED GROUND LIGHT
Æ
47x3W = 141Watt. This
chain can be connected to one of the LED Manager outputs since it does not exceed the allowed 150W. The
maximum number of Ground lights connected to the LED Manager = 2x 50pcs = 100pcs.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Since the LED Ground light is controlled by the LED Manager, we strongly advice to read the operation
instructions in the LED Manager user manual.
MAINTENANCE
•
Switch off the LED Manager and unplug the mains cable.
During inspection the following points should be checked:
•
All screws used for installing the projector and any of its parts should be tightly fastened and may not be
corroded.
•
When the glass cover is visibly damaged due to cracks or deep scratches, it must be replaced.
•
The cables must be in impeccable condition and should be replaced immediately when even a small
problem is detected.
•
Check the cable glands and the sealing rubber around the glass cover if you see water on the inside of the
projector.
•
The unit can be cleaned with the normal floor cleaning products.
