The most reliable way to determine
the degree of cooking is to use a core
temperature measuring device (not
supplied with the device).

To freshen up the crust, grill the
meat at the highest temperature
setting for a few more seconds on
each side after the resting phase.
But the degree of cooking may
change slightly here.

13. After use,

fl

ip the main switch to po-

sition

0

and pull the mains plug out of

the plug socket.

14. Allow the grill and the accessory to

cool down. Then clean them (see the
“Cleaning and Storage” chapter).

Using the Grill Tray

The grill tray (

7

) is suitable for smaller

pieces of food or preparing sauces.
While the meat is being grilled in the
upper section of the grill chamber, for ex-
ample, vegetables may be cooked in the
grill tray in the bottom section of the grill
chamber. The meat juice dripping down
helps to season the vegetables.
Our recommendation for a sauce: Allow
butter, garlic and rosemary to melt in the
grill tray during the grilling process.

Cleaning and Storage

PLEASE NOTE!

Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket and allow the device and
accessories to cool down before doing
any cleaning.

Do not use any caustic or abrasive
cleaning agents or scouring sponges
for cleaning. The surfaces may be
damaged!

Rinse the accessory after each use. The
grill should also be freed of any crumbs,
fat deposits or other contamination after
use.
•  Remove any dirt from the grill with

a damp cloth and a little detergent.
The easiest way to clean the device
after use is in a lukewarm (not hot!)
condition.

•  The rack frame (

2

) can be removed

from the grill chamber (

10

) for clean-

ing. To do this, it must be lifted slightly
at the back as it is held in position by a
hook (

11

) at the bottom.

•  Clean the used accessory with deter-

gent and warm water or in the dish-
washer. In the case of any stubborn
dirt, soak it beforehand in warm water
and detergent.

•  Dry all parts thoroughly before assem-

bling or putting them away.

•  Keep the grill in a dry place, protected

from direct sunlight at temperatures of
between 0 and 40°C.

•  Store out of the reach of children and

animals.
