General notes
Before using, rub or brush cold grill plates each time with
■
cooking oil to prevent food from sticking to them.
Food should be at room temperature.
■
Remember that frozen food requires longer to cook and can
■
also dry out.
To achieve the best results, preheat the grill until the required
■
temperature has been reached and the standby lamp (7) lights
up.
Carefully monitor grilling and regulate the temperature – if
■
necessary.
Information on the non-stick coating of the grill plates
CAUTION
Damage to the non-stick coating by scratching or over-
heating!
The surface of the grill plates has a non-stick coating. Observe
the following instructions to avoid damage:
Do not cut any food on the grill plate.
►
Use only spoons and spatulas suitable for non-stick sur-
►
faces.
Possibilities for use
Contact grill
You can cook various different foods such as steaks, sausag-
■
es or vegetables using the contact grill.
The contact grill is particularly suitable for quick low-fat prepa
-
■
ration of meals since both sides are grilled simultaneously and
the ribbed surface of the grill allows fat to quickly flow into the
drip tray.
If you wish to grill different meals at the same time, they must
■
have the same thickness so that contact to the surface of the
grill plate remains even.
