Setting the Coffee Strength
You can adjust the strength of the coffee to suit your own personal taste. The stronger you want
the coffee to be, the longer the water needs to run through. Note here that the
fl
ow time will be
extended as a result and the coffee will not only taste stronger but possibly also bitter (e.g. for 8
cups and the selection
). This does of course also depend on your personal taste, the
water hardness and the type of coffee chosen. This is why we recommend performing a few trial
runs.
Keep touching the
fi
eld
MODE
(
17
) until the coffee strength you want is shown on the
display
(
3
).

before it goes out again. The indicator for the chosen coffee strength appears again as soon as a
preset time is activated or the brewing process is started.
The coffee strength is saved until a new coffee strength is set or the device has been discon-
nected from the power supply.
