Personal protection
Ensure you wear very sturdy gloves when
replacing the blades.

Fasten the blade
Fasten the blade (Figure 13:4) and the knife
ring (Figure 13:5) with the M12 10.9
hexagon socket head screw (Figure 13:6)
on the knife-mounting disks (Figure 13:1)
and tighten the hexagon socket head screw
to the 5.2 specified torque.

Lock the blade bolt
Place the locking ring (Figure 13:3) over the
bolt and put the locking nut (Figure 13:2)
on the bolt. Tighten the locking nut to the
5.2 specified torque. Ensure that the bolt
does not turn loose by holding it in place
with a socket wrench.

Test rotation
Once the blades are fitted, always test that
these rotate properly.
The hedge trimmer must only be released
for use when the installation works
properly without vibration.
