7 Decommissioning
7.1 Disassembly and disposal
The battery pack is removed in two steps:
1. Switch off and disconnect the power supply
Before removing the battery pack for a CX20x0 system, the system should be switched off and the power
supply should be disconnected.
2. Removing the device from the DIN rail
For removing the device the installation steps are reversed:
1. Release the four screws.
2. Lift the battery pack.
3. Remove the battery pack from the upper edge of the mounting rail.
4. Remove the battery pack from the mounting rail.
Disposal
Dismantle the battery pack housing and dispose of the components according to national electronics scrap
regulations.
The internal battery must not be opened or dismantled and must be disposed of according to national
electronics scrap regulations.
