Using the Line In/Out 

The 

Line In/Out

 pluggable screw-terminal allows interfacing to the vehicles’ existing 

communications system.  The Line audio level of this interface is that of typical 
equipment being  -10dBV, which is about 0.3V. 

 
 
 
 

 
Pinout: 

 

1 (left) = Line In (uplink audio) 

 

2 (middle) = ground 

 

3.(right) = Line Out (downlink audio)

NOTE:

  It is recommended to use screened 2-core audio cable in making the plug. It 

may be required to adjust the gains of the communications system that is being 

interfaced in order to achieve optimum levels.

The 

microphone port

 needs to be disabled if using the 

line-In, 

by switching the 

slide switch to the RIGHT.  Use the tip of a pen to 

gently

 click the slide switch over to the
