• Never unlock the jug from the base until the cooking light has been switched off
and before the device has cooled completely.
• Never open the reservoir lid until the device has cooled completely.
• Regularly check that the steam outlet hole on the bowl is not blocked.

CLEANING
• always unplug the appliance before you start cleaning it.
• Immediately rinse the accessories that have come into contact with the food
under running water to prevent germs forming.

descale the heating reservoir regularly using white vinegar only.
Ensuring the device is cold and not connected to the mains, pour a mixture of
100ml of water and 100ml of white vinegar into the heating reservoir. Leave for
the night and then empty. Repeat the operation if necessary until all the lime has
been removed. connect the device to the mains and then complete two heating
cycles using water only in the heating reservoir (3 measures - 150 ml) in order
to rinse it well. Then clean the bowl and accessories with warm, soapy water.
Never use a chemical descaler or a
coffee machine descaler in the heating
reservoir.

sterilisation.

• Do not fill the bowl above the mark lines and do not add water to the jug before
mixing. There is a risk of very hot liquid being splashed when mixing.
• keep the BaBycook out of children’s reach and always lock the bowl lid fully so
that the blade is inaccessible.
• Use the BaBycook on a flat surface and stable.
• Plug the Babycook into an earthed 220V socket. check that the power supply
for your device is suited to your electrical installation. Unwind the power supply
lead. Do not use an extension lead. as a safety measure and in order to avoid
accidents, if the power cable is damaged, have it replaced by the Beaba after-
sales service or by its certified national representative. any connecting errors
cancel the guarantee.
• Do not run the BaBycook in cooking mode when the reservoir is dry.
