4.10 Load Fail-Safe Defaults
AWARD BIOS will automatically set all BIOS setup options to a complete set of
default settings when you choose this option. The Fail-Safe settings are designed
for maximum system stability, but not maximum performance. Choose the Fail-
Safe option if your computer is experiencing system configuration problems.
4.11 Load Optimized Defaults
The chipset defaults are settings, which provide for maximum system performance.
While Award has designed the custom BIOS to maximize performance, the
manufacturer has the right to change these defaults to meet their needs.
