detergent an d hot water so lutio n.
Bur ner asse mbly
1. Turn gas o f f at the control kno b s and natural gas val ve.
2. Remove co oking grate s and flame t amers.
3. Remove gre ase cups.
4. Remove b urner by uns crewing nut fro m b ene ath b urner “ fo ot” using a
screwdriver an d pliers.
5. Lif t b urner up and awa y fro m the g a s valve orifice.
6. Cle an inlet (venturi tub e) o f b urner with small b ot tle b rush or co mp resse d air.
7. Remove all fo o d residu e and dir t o n o utsid e o f b urner sur fa ce.
8. Cle an any cl o gg e d p o r ts with a stif f wire (su ch as an op ene d p ap er clip).
9. Insp e ct b urner for d amage (cra cks o r hole s). If d amage is fo und, repla ce with a
new b urner.
10. Reinstall burn er. M ake certain the gas valve orifices are co rre ctly p osition e d,
p ointing straight into b urner inlet (venturi tub e). Also, ch e ck p ositio n o f
sp ark e le ctro de.
