Cleaning and Maintenance

Always keep the outside of the
Clinitek Status analyzer clean and
free of dust.

Turn the analyzer off by
pressing the on/off button for
2 seconds.

Wipe the outside (including the
display) with a damp (not wet)
cloth and a mild detergent.
Do not use any type of
solvent, oil, grease, silicone spray,
or lubrication on the analyzer.
Do not spray the glass cleaner
directly onto the screen. Do not use
laboratory wipes, such as Kimwipes,
since they may scratch the screen.
Care should be taken to avoid
liquid from entering the printer
compartment.
The display may be disinfected
using the same solutions as for the test
table (see earlier in this section). Wipe
the solution on and allow to remain for
10 minutes. Wipe clean using a clean
cloth dampened with water, then dry.

equipment. Use universal precautions.
