When calculating the total refrigerant pipe length, take into account the
number of bends and oil loops:
Equivalent pipe length = actual pipe (bend quantity × pipe bend
equivalent length) + (oil loop quantity × oil loop equivalent length).

Important
The calculated equivalent pipe length must be less than the
maximum allowed pipe length of the product.

Positioning the outdoor unit
5.5.1
Installation location requirements
Warning
Install the outdoor unit on a solid surface that can support its
weight. Make sure that the support is securely installed and the
unit are stable even after running for an extended period. lf not
properly secured, the unit may fall and cause damage or injury to
objects and persons.
Do not install the outdoor unit in a place where it can be subject to a risk
of exposition to a combustible gas. If a combustible gas leaks and
becomes concentrated around the unit, a fire may occur.
Do not install the outdoor unit in an atmosphere with a high salt content
or in any corrosive environment.
Do not expose the outdoor unit to excessive steam, smoke, or dust.
Install the outdoor unit at minimum 1 meter from other electrical
appliances with electromagnetic waves.
Do not install the outdoor unit near highly flammable liquids and/or
gases.
Do not install the outdoor unit where it may be covered in snow if the air
conditioner is also used for heating purposes.
